reset Epson L486 Adjustment Program ink pad

I have an Epson L486 printer and I am having trouble with the ink pad. I have tried resetting it using the Epson L486 Adjustment Program, but I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly. Can anyone who has experience with this issue help me out? I would greatly appreciate any guidance or advice on how to properly reset the ink pad.
